Tooth Whitening
Vital Bleaching
Teeth which are affected with fluorosis ,any developmental disorders or medication will have stains which cannot be removed by normal cleaning. These stains may range from brown colour to dark brown and red colour depending on the severity of the condition. These stains do not require root canal therapy and only involves the surface treatment of enamel with mild chemical agents which removes the discolouration completely with minimal damage to the tooth structure.

Non Vital Bleaching
Non vital bleaching procedure is used when the tooth is badly discolored from inside due to internal hemorrhage which is caused by dental trauma or infection. The discoloration can range from brownish black to dark brownish in nature. Such tooth is treated in two steps. First step involves the root canal treatment. Second step involves the use of bleaching agents inside the tooth in order to bring the tooth to its normal shade.
Cosmetic/Teeth Colour Fillings
Tooth coloured fillings were used to treat the teeth which were badly broken or decayed. These fillings were also used for aesthetic enhancement, for closure of spaces between the teeth. The treatment procedure brings the tooth to its normal form, function and shape with excellent colour matching with that of adjacent teeth. The tooth morphology is attained by placing composite (tooth coloured material) material and fibre post reinforcement when the tooth is badly decayed or broken.

Root Canal Treatment
When decay of the tooth enters the nerve, it causes pain and pus discharge from the affected tooth. To retain such tooth, the nerve tissue inside the tooth is cleaned and treated with medicated solutions to obtain infection free sterile root canals. These canals were sealed with filling materials to prevent the spread of re-infection from oral cavity to the underlying supporting bone. These teeth after treatment are covered with cap to function normally. Depending upon the tooth it may contain one or more roots. Sometimes extra roots are also present which should be treated carefully. Only specialist doctors with clinical experience can do the RCT (root canal treatment) perfectly.
